Strathearn Historical Park & Museum Step back in time and explore the history of early California at this historical park. Once the headquarters of Rancho Simi, this attraction is a California Historical Landmark with numerous buildings, including two adobe structures. Explore for yourself or take a guided tour of the grounds, which were part of the earliest Spanish colonial land grant in the area. See barns, a church, houses and the first library in Simi Valley.

What areas of the park can I tour?
There are 19 different areas to explore, including the Colony House, Memory Garden, Open Barn and the Simi Adobe-Strathearn House. Other highlights also include the Garages, Pitting Shed, Farm Tools and General Store.
Are there guided tours of the park?
Yes, docent led tours are given every Saturday and Sunday from 1PM to 3PM, and Wednesday through Thursday at 1PM sharp. Tours last 60 to 90 minutes, and a $3 donation per adult is requested. Self guided tours and ghost tours are also available.
